Role Expectations:
We are seeking a qualified Foreman that is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities on the jobsite, ensuring that work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to plan. This role includes coordinating crews, monitoring progress, and maintaining communication between field teams and project management. The foreman is expected to uphold quality standards, enforce safety protocols, and support a productive work environment throughout the duration of the project.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
- Knowledge of civil construction methods and processes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and site plans.
- Strong leadership and crew management skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Skill in planning, scheduling, and managing time.
- Ability to identify and solve problems quickly.
- Ability to complete and submit any daily reports required such as JSA’s.
- Knowledge of workplace safety standards and compliance.
- Proficiency with construction equipment and tools.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically
demanding tasks.
- Ability to navigate difficult terrain and lift up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in the construction industry, with at least 1–2 years in a
supervisory or leadership role.
- Experience in civil construction or related field preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid drivers license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and MVR check.
